Signal handling problem on HPUX 9 / 10

Editor is set to "vi"  When a message is composed and the
editor is suspended and then resumed and exited.  Mutt reports:
Error running "vi '/tmp/mutt-wmerh114-24515-1'"! 

At this point there is a vi process running in the background and
key strokes are being diverted from the mutt process.  If mutt
is then exitted an infinite loop occurs with messages of the form:

At EOF

At EOF

At EOF

At EOF

Spewing out to the screen.


This behavior does not occur on FreeBSD or SunOS 5.6
