#3664 fixed mutt-1.5.22: make install requires root privileges Kevin McCarthy <kevin@…> vc@…
Description
Package: mutt

Severity: normal

-- Please type your report below this line

Sorry for multiple messages...

make install requires root privileges. It fails on setting sgid bit to mutt_dotlock.

The following patch with 'make DOTLOCK_GROUP="" install' fixes this behaviour:

#3935 fixed mutt-1.8.2: color index for labels lags Kevin McCarthy <kevin@…> jcdenton
Description
Package: mutt
Version: 1.8.2-1
Severity: wishlist

-- Please type your report below this line

When using mutt's "color index" with the pattern '~y .*' for X-Label
detection, mutt will not immediately remove the color upon removal of the
label and waits for the next mail check.

If one uses a color index, for example, to color deleted messages, the effect
of the delete/undelete is rendered immediately. Is there any way to speed the
same effect for labels with the ~y pattern?

Here's the color index I'm using:
color index yellow default '~y .*'

And here's a delete color that works right away:
color index blue default '~D'

Thanks!

#3938 fixed mutt-1.8.2: Ctrl+g on delete message confirmation results in negative sidebar counts Kevin McCarthy <kevin@…> jcdenton
Description
Package: mutt
Version: 1.8.2-1
Severity: normal

-- Please type your report below this line

If mutt is set to prompt confirming message deletion before changing mailboxes, pressing Ctrl+g to abort this results in a sidebar update of "-1" messages. The value goes away on the next mail check.
